Jennifer Connelly Had Sex With a Dolphin

Despite the yellow journalism sensationalistic headline that it is, it’s also true.  On David Letterman last night, Jennifer related the story of how she was working a gig for a Fantasy Island episode and … oh I dont want to spoil it (find it somewhere else).

No blogging for a long time.  Been doing other things.  Might as well keep kicking in now and then, my online journal of sorts.

Gave up for now on having my own business and having speaking and writing and workshops work for me to pay the bills.  It can be done, I have really good material and my day will come.  I just happen to be really good at high end communication network engineering for the US department of defense … so that is what I am doing for now.

So there!  I did I did I did see a puddy tatt!

Plus, since I was going to make SO much money as a personal growth enthusiast, I would have EASILY got into the $250K and above “rich” people bracket that Obama has targeted to pay even MORE taxes.

He doesnt get it. Stoopid Democrat Tricks … try out for Letterman.  That discussion is for another day.

I’m just getting started.  Who cares if anyone reads this (how many times has THAT line been typed in a blog?)

This Is What Is Really Going On

“Too many people spend money they haven’t earned, to buy things they don’t want, to impress people they don’t like.”

- Will Rogers

I think that about sums it up.  My level of “shock and awe” increases by the day as the Stimulus Bill becomes more like a pork barrel Spending Bill of days gone by.

Where is the adult supervision?

I AM an optimistic person.  I know that I and my family will be OK.  I am somewhat less assured that the broader swath of the population - those that think the government and the central banks actually know what they are doing - will make it through this ongoing financial mess we find ourselves in.

I am reassessing how to best help those that may not be OK on their own.  For now, I will continue to do what I have been doing: talk, mentor, coach and tell it like it is.

Ultimately everyone needs to make the decision to change their lives - if I can help to open a door or two for you, give me a call.

IRS Chief Doesn’t Pay Taxes, Why Should You?

January 29, 2009 by Mark T. Rafter · 1 Comment

Think about this for a minute, the new head of the IRS, Treasury Secretary Timothy Giethner did not pay his Social Security and Medicare taxes for 2001-4, when he was a senior official at the International Monetary Fund (the IMF does not withhold taxes for its American employees).

He (Geithner) ultimately paid a total of more than $48,000 in back taxes and interest.  Note of course that part of this (why not all?) was paid ONLY AFTER HE WAS AUDITED in 2006 and the rest last November.

Note 2: “the rest last November” could very well have been after he got the call that he was on the short list for Obama’s cabinet.

I can see the To Do List now: 1) Clean up skeletons in closet.  2) Pay back taxes 3) Convince Congress is was an oversight 4) fix the economy 5) etc.

I have an idea: let’s ALL stop paying our taxes. Everyone refuse to send in their returns.  I suppose if you are owed money you would want to get a refund (interesting that they call it a “tax refund” when it was your money in the first place).  What are they going to do … come after ALL of us?

Remember Howard Beale in the movie Network?  He played the TV guy that exhorted everyone to open their windows and yell: “I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take this any more!”

Why aren’t we doing this now?  What is going on in our government is lunacy.  Our future Quality of Life is being jeopardized by what is going on.

So, what are you going to do?
